1951: Alan Freed, Dj kat WJW Cleveland uses the term “Rock n Roll” for the first time in his show’s title. Make tercipte la perkataan Rock and Roll..
1954: “Sh-boom” by the crew cuts becomes the first rhythm and blues song to hit the top ten. Elvis makes his first official recording in Memphis’s Sun Studio.
1955: “Rock around the Clock” by Bill Haley and the comets is the first rock and roll song to hit number one on the pop charts Chuck Berry records “Maybelline” , Little Richard records “Tutti Frutti”.
1956: With “Hound Dog”, his first RCA single, Elvis hits number one on the pop, country and western and rhythm and blues charts.”Presleymania” exploded all over the US.
1959: Buddy Holly dies in a plane crash, along with Ritchie Valens and others. Chuck Berry is accused of statutory rape. The payola scandal erupts. Elvis does his military service at a US base in West Germany.
1960: The Beatles perform for the first time in Hamburg; Germany.
1961: Robert Zimmerman, Known as Bob Dylan, performs for the first time at folk city, a Greenwich Village Club.
1963: The Beatles record “Please Please Me” .Another British group takes the name The Rolling Stones. Martin Luther King,Jr. leads the demonstration on Washington.
1964: The Beatles arrive in the US to a hysterical welcome. In San Francisco the warlocks (later known as the Grateful Dead) start performing.
1965: Dylan Is booed at the Newport Folk Festival. He records the album Highway 61 Revisited, which includes the historic cut “like a rolling stone:, The Rolling Stones record “I Cant Get No (Satisfaction)”
1967: The Beatles’ Sgt.Pepper and Jimi Hendrix’s Are You Experienced? come out. The first Monterey festival takes place. There is demonstration in several US cities.
1968: Led Zeppelin’s first appearance. The Tet unpleasant starts in Vietnam. Martin Luther King, Jr. is assassinated in Memphis. Student riots break all over Europe, moved by those in the US.
1969: One of the most important assemblies in rock history, known as Woodstock, takes place in Bethel, New York on Max Yasgur’s farm. The Rolling Stones give a tumultuous concert at Altamont.
1970: The Beatles officially spilt up. Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin died.
1973: Pink Floyd releases The Dark Side Of The Moon, an album that would sell an extraordinary 13 million copies.
1975: Patti Smith releases Horses.
The Sex Pistol
1976: The Sex Pistols release their first single, “Anarchy in the UK”. Bruce Springsteen’s successes grow with Born To Run.
1979: Pink Floyd’s album The Wall is released.
1980: John Lennon is murdered.
1982: Michael Jackson’s album Thriller comes out. The compact disk (CD) is launched.
1984: Springsteen releases Born In The USA and undertake one of the most successful tours in rock history.
1987: U2’s album The Joshua Tree hits number one all over the world. Nirvana debuts.
1991: Nirvana releases Nevermind, which would ultimately sell 10 million copies. Metallica’s album Metallica is released.
Kurt Cobain
1994: Kurt Cobain bunuh diri. Bjork’s first appearance with the album debut (1993), draws critical and popular interest.
1995: The Rock And Roll Hall of Fame and Museum opens in Cleveland, Ohio and features costumes and instruments used by rock music performers, original song manuscripts and film showing rock music performances and history.

Dubbed the “Eternal Teenager,” Chuck Berry’s knowledge of the pop market made it possible for him to break color barriers and play to an integrated audience.

Melayu tu happening, ye la abg adik beradik ramai, sedare mare lg..pastu org dulu2 meriah..jiran2 abg..mmg seronok..ade pelite, mercun..duit raye..skrang ni raye tak semeriah dulu..skrang ni biase je.
Sekarang kat kampong pun adik beradik abg ramai yang dah ade family sendiri..jarang balik kampong..arwah mak ngan ayah abg pun dh lame takde..jadi kiteorg slalu beraye ngan uncle n sedare yang lain..Yang ade kat Kg.Melayu pun Uncle apek and family ngan Makchah..sedare lain pun ade gak yang dtg sume..slalu kalau kt kampong family abg slalu masak nasi minyak, nasi briyani utk org yang dtg..pastu ade la ketupat, kuah kacang,lemang, rendang..
